Monday August 19th 10AM On the Record and Off the Wall, a joltradio interview show with Buzz Fleischman, celebrates the Woodstock festival. 50 years after that seminal event that brought hundreds of thousands of young music seekers together, we take a nostalgic look behind the scenes with Daniel Ben-Zebulon the percussionist for Richie Havens. Richie opened the festival and gave it its groovy laid-back focus. How the actual start of the musical extravaganza came together is a story in itself. We’ll go behind the scenes with first person accounts from festival goers and re-create the atmosphere of the largest gathering of like-minded souls.
