Republicans; “Canadian bacon and Brussells sprouts are un-American”

John Boehner took President Obama to task today after a White house ‘peace breakfast’ of pancakes, bacon, coffee and orange juice with Republican leaders.

House Republicans immediately called a press conference to denounce a meal, they said, was counter-productive to the war on terrorism and added, “This food was a clear waste of time and of taxpayer dollars.”

“Eggs”, Boehner said, “are the cornerstone of American breakfasts for as long as I can remember. And were they on the White House menu? No!

If Obama keeps dis-respecting our chicken farmers and egg producers, he can kiss that part of our economy good-bye. Where are the jobs?

“We could have gone to IHOP and each of us would have had a choice. But this breakfast was not about a person’s right to choose.”

California Republican Darrell Issa, bellowed, “At breakfast today, we witnessed a repudiation of American values by someone who may feel entitled to eat anything he wants! These entitlements have to stop. And the coffee was probably from Colombia or some other middle-Eastern country.

Issa looked directly into the cameras and said, “I’m sorry to say this but I believe that the bacon served at the White House; our White House, was Canadian bacon! What’s next, Brussels Sprouts?”

"I like pancakes! hey Boehner, I upped my income, up yours!"

Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, leery of Obama’s so called ‘entitlement to eat breakfast’ tweeted he should ‘eat like everyone else and not deduct the cost of everyone’s meal on his own person income tax.’ When asked if that were the case, Issa replied “Probably.”
