A ‘whopper’ of a scent not for vegans

What were they smoking? It wasn’t the meat!

Celebrity scents make sense. Elizabeth Taylor’s ‘White diamonds’ is a best seller because women want to exude the aroma of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Among celebs who hawk a scent are Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, Beyonce’ and Nicki Minaj.

Get a whiff of this. Could a limited edition fragrance, available to only a thousand lucky men of Japan make women swoon?

Ever walk into Burger King and say ‘What’s that aroma? I’d like to splash some of that onto my skin”. Of course not, but for a select few, Burger King Japan will ‘release’ a Whopper scented perfume and they’re doing it on April 1st. No, it’s not a joke.

Now any man can smell like the kitchen at BK. Or is it ‘who wants to smell like the kitchen at BK?’ What does that mean? We don’t know.

Flame-Grilled, is the name of the fragrance, and the company hopes it will make anyone who gets close enough to get a whiff, want to ask, “What the hell is that?”

Back in 2008 the fast food joint released “Flame by BK,” a body spray for men described as “the scent of seduction with a hint of flame-broiled meat.” The company has allowed the burger eating public 6 years to get that particular scent from our noses.

So if you want to not only eat a burger, but ‘seduce’ it as well, you’re in luck. Just don’t spread the word around; you may never get a date.

Would you like cheese with that? No vegans need apply.

Available on what they’re calling the inaugural Whopper Day. We may as well call it ’What were they thinking?’
