Ever since the RNC convention has lost a full day of ‘activities’ RNC Chairman Reince Priebus issued the following statement “We’re not cutting any of our speakers. We need to hear them all, so what we’re doing is asking them to ‘pick up the pace’ and speak a lot faster.
There will be no pauses for applause and no long words. In fact, if we could just get them to ‘Tweet’ their speech we’d have a lot more time to avail ourselves of the local watering holes.
We’ll rush speakers to the stage with an introduction that will be equivalent to their ego. For many, the intro will be longer than the speech.
I’m sure the people who do the sign language will sustain some hand injuries, but that’s the price we pay; or the price they’ll pay, because they will be part timers with no medical benefits.”
There will be a symbolic 10 minute opening to the convention followed by a quick ‘bashing of the Liberals’ to anyone that will listen”
