Did you ever want to reach into your TV while watching Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Auction Kings or Toy Hunter and grab that toy they’re holding/selling/finding you once owned that meant so much to you?
Go hands on with thousands of toys, dolls and collectibles investigating, chatting and bargaining at the only remaining purely antique toy, doll and collectibles show in the Southeastern United States.
If you’ve been traveling at the speed of light, want to slow down and enjoy some memories from the past and actually see and touch these gems of antiquity, then the 2014 Miami Antique Toy Show Sunday, February 9th at the Holiday Inn Miami International Airport is where it’s at!
The phenomenal selection of antique toys, dolls and collectibles will include plenty of pre-war wind-up tin toys from Marx, Unique Art and J. Chein and Company all sharing the exhibit hall with post-war die-cast and plastic toys from Dinky, Corgi and Revell. Lunch boxes, lead soldiers, cereal premiums, cast iron banks, Barbie dolls, Star Wars figures from 1889 to 1989 will be there.
Join diecast diehards and other confirmed collectors from all over the southeast as they once again converge on Miami and dive right into the thick of the bidding, bargaining and buying.
This unique show continues to feature dealers with museum quality items from around the country as well as Canada, Mexico, Argentina, and Germany.
Since toys are considered ‘antique’ if they are 25 years old, then anything manufactured in 1989 or earlier will now, officially, be welcomed at the 2014Show. Now Atari and Intelli-vision video games can take their rightful place on dealers’ tables, and so can anything Pee Wee Herman-related and everything from the first Star Wars trilogy (NH, ESB, ROTJ).
The hotel is at the junction of South Royal Poinciana, LeJeune Road, and 36th Street. Call the hotel directly at 305 885 1941 for more information.
General admission to the Miami Antique Toy Show is $6 (under twelves get in for $4 and fives and under are free)
